Troubleshooting
Why isn't my Instagram link working?
A few things can cause it: the account is private, the story has expired, the post was deleted, or the copied link is incomplete. SaveJet only works with public Instagram content — make sure the link opens for anyone in a logged-out browser, then paste the full https:// URL again.
The video opens in a new tab instead of downloading — what do I do?
Some mobile browsers preview the file first. On iPhone, tap the share icon and choose Save to Files (or Save Video); on Android, long-press the video and choose Download. On a computer, right-click and choose "Save video as".
SaveJet can't fetch the post — what should I check?
Confirm it's a public post (private accounts, deleted media and expired stories can't be downloaded), and that you pasted the link to a single post, reel or profile. If Instagram is briefly busy, wait a few seconds and try again — no app or login is ever required.

Can I download Instagram stories anonymously?
Yes. Because SaveJet does not log in to Instagram, you can download public stories without the account owner knowing you viewed or saved them.
Can I download from private accounts?
